Lady Raiders win district title, Spartans fall

JACKSONVILLE – The Orange Park Lady Raiders rallied from a two game deficit to defeat host Mandarin 25-23, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21, 15-11 in a thrilling come-from-behind fashion to win the District 1-6A title

Orange Park’s district title ride began with a three-game sweep in the semifinals over Fletcher, and in the championship game, junior setter Michelle Wanek delivered 18 service points and assisted on 42 points, while senior middle blocker Ellen Merrill added 12 kills and 4 aces for Orange Park who improved to 15-12 and will host a regional playoff game on Wed. Nov. 4.

Things did not go as well for the Lady Spartans of St. Johns Country Day School who loss to host Providence in District 6-2A forcing them on the road to Gainesville P.K. Yonge on Nov. 4 as well.

I'm not sure about "service points" and "rallies", but I think "kills" and "aces" are volleyball terms. What sport are you talking about? Who, WHAT, when, where, how please.
