ORANGE PARK - The boys’ soccer season came to a close for Fleming Island, St. Johns Country Day School and Keystone Heights who all loss their quarterfinal matchups in the state playoffs on Thursday, Feb. 4.

Region 1-5A: Fleming Island (20-1-2) saw its undefeated season come to an end in the penalty-kick shootout phase against visiting Tallahassee Chiles. The Timberwolves’ goalkeeper made two saves during the shootout to seal the 1-0 (4-2PK) victory for Chiles who will now host Tallahassee Lincoln a 3-0 winner over Lake City Columbia.

Region 1-3A: Four different players scored for Episcopal in their 4-0 quarterfinal victory over visiting (12-10-3) Keystone Heights who advances to face Bolles, a 1-0 winner over Crescent City.

Region 2-2A: St. Johns Country Day School (9-8-2) fell to host Pierson Taylor 4-2 who now hosts Orangewood Maitland who upset the Providence Stallions.
